Live Arts Maryland does it all and this concert features symphonic music, choral music and even opera! The Annapolis Chorale, The Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and guest soloists Shouvik Mondle and Fatinah Tilfah perform under the baton of J. Ernest Green. Handel’s “Music for the Royal Fireworks” sets the tone for these majestic and explosive concerts. Dvorak’s “Te Deum” follows, then, as choruses and musicians surround the audience, we perform two of opera’s grandest moments: “Te Deum” from Tosca and the “Regina Coeli” from Cavalleria Rusticana. Bringing all to a stunning close is Rutter’s grand “Gloria.”
