A true "all-star" group, the Potomac Guitar Quartet features musicians Peter Fields, Brian Litz, Phil Mathieu, and Jeff Meyerriecks - four classical guitarists each with a lifetime of accomplishments. From the Baroque and Brazilian to Ragtime and the Ventures, their repertoire spans many centuries of guitar music across the globe. The group will present an eclectic mix of brazilian, tango, jazz, classical and surf styles with this particluar show bringing an emphasis on the music of Charlie Byrd.
Don't miss the final performance of the year of the popular St. Anne's Concert Series.Bach specialist and former St. Anne’s organist Larry Molinaro will present the final all-Bach organ concert on Sunday, May 18, at 1 p.m. showcasing the jewel that is St. Anne’s Freiburger organ. Mr. Molinaro will perform Bach’s Organ “Mass” (Clavier-Übung III) as part of the St. Anne’s Concert Series, jointly presented by the Annapolis Chorale and St. Anne’s Episcopal Church.The start time of this concert has been moved to 1 p.m. to kick of the City's afternoon rededication of the historic Southgate Fountain.
Please note: Advanced ticket sales (both online and at the Maryland Hall Box Office) will end the Friday before the performance at 2 pm. After that, tickets will only be available at the door of St. Anne’s beginning 45 minutes prior to showtime.

Students from Creative Movement to the Apprentice level will be performing a variety of classical and contemporary ballet as well as tap, modern and jazz pieces. Also included in the program is Act III of “Sleeping Beauty”. Performance is open to the public. An ice-cream social will follow Saturday's performance. Note: The performance will take place at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

The highly acclaimed 50-member choir of the Columbia Chinese Choral Art Society will perform music of the East and West, with selections by classical masters and traditional Chinese folk music.The Embassy of China will present a renowned photographic exhibition on Chinese culture at the event. Another display will showcase a “visual dialogue” between Chinese and American students through artwork.To continue the dialogue, children from St. Anne’s Day School in Annapolis will perform a Chinese folk song with the visiting choir. Conducting will be Phil Yu Peng, a lyric tenor and graduate of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
